Sync your organizer data using the Computer Data Sync app
Before you sync your Microsoft Outlook contacts and calendar events, make sure you complete the following tasks:
- On your computer, install the Computer Data Sync for BlackBerry app.
- On your BlackBerry device, download the Computer Data Sync app.
- Connect your device to your computer.
1. On your device, open the Computer Data Sync app.

Enter BlackBerry Media Sync for Mac as reported by Boy Genius on Tuesday. Hard to tell what exactly is in there, but it's nice to see that Windows-centric companies are taking the Mac seriously. Not endorsed by BlackBerry. 1 If you do not have the USB connector, open Smart Switch Mobile in “Settings” on your new phone or download Smart Switch for PC/Mac. For a wire transfer, device must be a Galaxy device with Android™ 4.3 or higher, iOS 5 or higher, or BlackBerry® 7 OS or lower. Other devices are not supported for a wire.
2. On your computer, open the Computer Data Sync app.
3. Click Sync.

4. In the Device drop-down list, select your device.
5. Specify the types of data that you want to transfer in the Contacts and Calendar sections.

6. In the Contacts section or the Calendar section, do any of the following:

- In the Sync Direction drop-down list, select an option.
- In the Data Conflicts drop-down list, select how you want the Computer Data Sync app to manage conflicting data.
- If you use multiple email accounts with Microsoft Outlook, in the Contacts and Folders to Sync or Calendars and Folders to Sync sections, select the accounts that you want to sync.
- If you use multiple email accounts with Microsoft Outlook, to specify the account that you want your device data transferred to, in the Contacts and Folders to Sync or Calendars and Folders to Sync sections, click the Default radio button.
7. Click Sync.
Note: During the sync, if you change the data on your computer or your device, those changes won't be included in the sync.
To change your sync settings at any time, on your computer, open the Computer Data Sync app, make your changes, and click Sync.
